Caramelized Onion, Gorgonzola, Pear, and Arugula Pizza

Note: The great thing about making your own pizza is that the bare crust is just like a blank canvas. Let your inner Rembrandt have his way, and use the following ingredients in the amounts that taste right to you.


  • 1 Rustic Crust Ciabatta Pizza Crust
  • Caramelized onions
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 sliced pears
  • Gorgonzola, crumbled
  • Walnuts, chopped
  • Arugula, washed and trimmed


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Brush olive oil over one side of crust.
  3. Spread onions evenly over crust.
  4. Crumble Gorgonzola over the onions.
  5. Dust with salt and pepper.
  6. Place in oven for 7-10 minutes until Gorgonzola gets creamy.
  7. Remove from oven and add rosemary, walnuts, and pears.
  8. Cut the pizza, and top with arugula before serving.
  9. Enjoy!
